What's for Breakfast?

Our favorite breakfast of the week is Sunday! That is the ONLY day I go all out for breakfast--usually just hot or cold cereal and fruit. Yesterday we had what I call Fruit Toast--hubby calls it Fruit Soup--but everybody calls it YUMMY!
This must be one of those dishes that are better in real life as the picture doesn't look particularly appetizing:( The way we serve this is to put peanut butter or almond butter on a piece of toast on a plate or flat bowl and ladle the Fruit Sauce over the top.

I hope you will try this with your family. It is super easy when you have a large group of people to feed for breakfast--and a real crowd pleaser as well.

Fruit Sauce

(I used home canned fruit so will guesstimate for store bought)
1 can pears in natural juice
1 can peaches in natural juice
1 can cherries in natural juice
1 can pineapple chunks in natural juice
1 can apricots in light syrup
3 Tbsp organic corn starch
pinch of salt

Pour all fruit with juice into pan. Cook till boiling. Mix cornstarch in water then add to fruit mixture and stir till thickened. Add pinch of salt, stir and serve. If you want your Fruit Sauce sweeter, add a small amount of sugar or honey--by small amount I mean a tablespoon or two.

NOTE: When I make Fruit Sauce I use a quart of everything except one can of pineapple. For this amount I use about 1/2 cup of cornstarch and about 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

Have a wonderful Monday and a big shout-out to all the Stampin' Up! Demonstators and families who are enjoying Disneyworld this week at Stampin' Up!'s expense!

Birthday Pop-up Card

My granddaughter's birthday is in June so thought it would be fun to make a birthday card for her at our May Happy Stampers Club meeting. I had the tutorial for the card I wanted to make but wanted to work it up to make sure it was doable for me!
I'm afraid I put it together kinda quick so didn't get my pieces as straight as I would have liked. Next month I will be able to show you the one for my granddaughter and will take more time with it. My granddaughter is only six but she appreciates my cards, gushes over them and saves them in a special place:)

For this card I used:

  • Cardstock: Rich Razzleberry, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Real Red
  • Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper--I LOVE this paper!!! Oh, have I said that before?!!!
  • Sentiment from Tea Shoppe stamp set
  • Punches: Scallop Circle, 1 3/8" Circle, Cupcake Builder, Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch, Scallop Border
  • Big Shot, Adorning Accents Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (Hearts)
  • Dimensionals, Sticky Strip
The picture at right is what the card looks like when opened! Whoo Hoo! This is one really cool card! For the granddaughter I plan to use Pink Pirouette (or Pretty in Pink, not sure yet), Wisteria Wonder and Concord Crush--very girlie! You could attach a gift card to the piece of Daffodil Delight.

I have Lynda at Lynda's Quiet Time to thank for the wonderful tutorial for this card. She has been doing some amazing things with the Petite Purse Die. Check out her blog and tell her I sent you:)

I hope you have a great weekend. Kat

Hello Doily Meets Tea Shoppe

Teacups, Butterflies and Doilies--a few of my favorite things! When I saw this card on Linda Gutierrez's blog, Stamping Year-Round, I knew I had to make it! The doily is embossed with White Embossing Powder and is stunning whether you leave it bright white (left) or sponge with Rich Razzleberry ink. Sooo much to love about this card. My plan is to send this card to some of my favorite ladies (who aren't my mom) for Mother's Day.

For this card I used:

  • Rich Razzleberry and Whisper White card stock; vellum (for butterflies on the card on the right)
  • Stamp sets: Hello Doily and Tea Shoppe (Occasions Mini expiring the end of April)
  • Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Pad; VersaMark Pad
  • White Stampin' Emboss Powder
  • 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" Circle Punches; Eyelet Border Punch
  • Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die; Big Shot
  • Heat Tool
  • Basic Pearls; Dimensionals, Glue Dots
The second photo shows the inside of the card. The nice thing about the Clear Mount Stamps is that you can cut them apart any way you want to. By cutting the tea cups apart you could stamp them vertically instead of horizontally. I will probably stamp "Happy Mother's Day" from the stamp set Teeny Tiny Wishes on page 157 of the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.

Even if the Tea Shoppe stamp set doesn't show up in the new 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog, it will be a favorite of mine for years to come.

Have a great day doing the things you love! Kat

Mother's Day Double Slider Card

Our Happy Stampers Stamping Club met last Wednesday and as usual it was great fun! This group is truly the highlight of my month!

This card was really fun for two reasons:

  • It is super cute and fun
  • My friend, Barb (and fellow Happy Stamper) found the idea and designed the front! It is always fun to have someone else design a card or project that I get to make along with everyone else!
The idea for the Double Slider Card came from Dawn Griffith at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. For this project we used:
  • Whisper White, Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery card stock
  • Concord Crush Stampin' Pad (retiring the end of May)
  • Messages for Mom stamp set (also retiring the end of May)
  • 1 3/4" Scallop Circle Punch; Bird Builder Punch (leaves); Round Tab Punch
  • Summer Smooches Fabric Brads (only available through the end of this month); dimensionals; strip from a plastic shopping bag
The next picture shows what it looks like when you pull the tab--both top and bottom slide out--sooo cool! I am looking forward to trying this card again soon so stay tuned! I do hope my mother enjoys this card for Mother's Day!

Wait till you see tomorrow's card! My favorite for sure!

Have a great day! Kat

Spring is Here!!!

I love Spring! And Summer! And Fall! Not Winter so much as I don't like to be cold. It appears that Spring has finally sprung in our neck of the woods and I couldn't be happier.
Today I am showing you a few signs of Spring in my yard--no, not me tanning!!! This is a closeup of the buds on my lilac bush getting ready to open up with beautiful blossoms! My lilac bushes are special because they were given to me by a special friend who died about a year and a half after giving them to me. Every year when they bloom I am reminded of what a wonderful friend he was. He left behind a sweet wife who is just as wonderful as he was.

This next picture is of our Kirk's Blue Plum tree. Raintree Nursery's description of this delectable delight is "Introduced by Joseph Kirke of London in 1830 and still the finest flavored of all plums. The large round dark blue freestone fruit has yellow drippingly juicy flesh with a fantastic flavor." I am not a plum lover because of the tart skin but the Kirk's Blue doesn't have a tart skin so is sweet and juicy all the way through! This tree only bares heavy every other year and this is the year!!!

My strawberry patch is feelin' the heat--leafing out and flowering! I can hardly wait to taste those fresh, sweet, succulent berries! Last year they struggled a little but this year they look like they are going to be good strong plants. Any of you who read my blog last year know that picking berries is one of my favorite things to do--It's like a treasure hunt!  My husband had them covered over with straw for the winter but has pushed the straw back so they can soak up some rays! The straw is nice when the berries are on to keep the berries out of the dirt so they don't get wet. When they sit on the wet ground they tend to rot and we don't want that now, do we?

The raspberries are just starting to leaf out and I do LOVE raspberries! Soon you won't be able to see through the fence because of all the raspberry leaves. It will soon be time to make Raspberry Lemonade again! Last year we found it was even better than Strawberry Lemonade!! It is so much fun seeing the plants budding and blooming and getting ready to produce wonderful fruit through the summer.

My husband is an avid gardener. He actually gets excited about working in the soil and planting food and flowers! I didn't get that bug but do enjoy watching the things he plants grow.
This last picture is of destruction and despair! We have a lovely asparagus patch and have been looking forward to being able to eat freely from it for the first time this year. Well, our sweet little Rocky has decided that he really likes vegetables. A few weeks ago he ate a whole row of kale and just recently we found him munching down in the asparagus patch. You can see in the picture where he munched off and broke off the asparagus. However, we did have a nice mess of asparagus this weekend and it was DELICIOUS!!!

I hope you are having a great day and are enjoying all the signs of Spring! Tomorrow I will be back with a card from our Happy Stampers club meeting from last week. Happy Spring! Kat

More Summer Smooches!

I just LOVE saying Summer Smooches! And since the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper will be in the new 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog, I will be able to use Summer Smooches ALL year long!!! You will definitely see a lot of Summer Smooches over the next few months anyway:)
This card would be wonderful to send to a friend who needs to know you're thinking about her. Or change up the sentiment to send anytime! So simple and so cute! How can you not smile when you see the Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper?!!! Then pair it with the Bright Blossoms stamp set and you have the makings for a great card! For A LOT of great cards!!!

This card was CASEd (Copy and Share Everything) from Norma Pimentel at Pink Bling Crafter. To see her other fun projects just clear everything in the address line after blogspot.com! Thank you Norma for this great card idea!

For this card I used:

  • Card Stock: Whisper White, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo and Rich Razzleberry
  • Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper
  • Ink: Basic Black and Real Red Classic Stampin' Pads
  • Stamp Sets: Bright Blossoms and Word Play
  • Extras: Dimensionals; Basic Rhinestones
Today is bright and sunny here in North Central Oregon! Should be in the 80s today. I have been taking advantage of the lovely weather by laying out in the sun for about 30 minutes each day--it's happy medicine for me plus LOTS of vitamin D! I hope the weather is wonderful where you are today but if not, do something fun inside to feed your soul! Kat

For this card I used:

  • Whisper White, Island Indigo, Real Red, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Tempting Turquoise, and Daffodil Delight cardstock
  • Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper (will be in the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog which debutes June 1)
  • Punches: 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Itty Bitty Punch set, Five Petal Flower

Sympathy Card

A dear and long-time friend of ours died recently and I needed a special card to send his wonderful wife. This stamp set, Language of Friendship, wasn't one I thought I wanted or needed but I got it for free during Sale-a-bration. As I was blog-hopping the other day I came across this card and knew it was the perfect Sympathy card for my friend. I have Sandy Mathis at Stamp with Sandy to thank for this beautiful card:) Sandy has a lot of other great ideas for cards and scrapbook pages so be sure to check out her blog.
For this card I used:

  • Island Indigo, Pool Party, Whisper White, Calypso Coral, Wisteria Wonder and Old Olive card stock
  • Everyday Enchantment Designer Series Paper (from Sale-a-bration)
  • Language of Friendship stamp set
  • Stampin' Pads: Island Indigo, Cajun Craze, Concord Crush, Always Artichoke, Early Espresso
  • Punches: Bird Builder, Boho Blossom
  • Big Shot, Framed Tulips Embossing Folder, Designer Frames Embossing Folder
  • Basic Pearls, Dimensionals
For the inside of the card I stamped the Boho Blossoms from the Language of Friendship stamp set in Concord Crush. The sentiment is from Sincere Salutations (retiring the end of May) and I stamped it in Early Espresso.

This is a card I will definitely make again as I really like the way it turned out.

Well, tomorrow I have a bright and fun card to show you from the Summer Smooches Sneak Peeks! I really had a fun time playing with the Summer Smooches! They are bright and fun and a little goes a long ways! Come back tomorrow to see what Summer Smooches are!

Happy Birthday!

One of the ladies at my husband's office is having a birthday. She loves pink and is a "girly girl" so I was trying to think of a card I could make her that would be fitting. When I finished, the card just wasn't right for her. I love the card but it just didn't quite fit. Soooo, a dear friend in Germany is having a birthday on May 1 and the card is PERFECT for her.
I wanted to use a burnishing technique I learned about for coloring but it was obvious I needed ALOT more practice with this technique before making a card I was going to give away! I did burnish the background around the flowers and that turned out okay. I will work with the technique a little more and then share it with my Happy Stampers next month:)

For this card I used the following Stampin' Up! products:

  • Rich Razzleberry, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White and Old Olive card stock plus Watercolor paper
  • Awash with Flowers and Loving Thoughts stamp sets
  • Basic Black Stampin' Pad
  • Watercolor Wonder Crayons:)))
  • 5/8" Whisper White Organza Ribbon--LOVE it!
Sorry about the shadow on the picture of the inside of this card. I did the 2-step stamping technique on the leaves and flowers for the inside and used the sentiment from the Occasional Quotes stamp set that is retired. This card was inspired by Jan Tink at Stamps, Paper, Scissors. I watched a You Tube video of her burnishing technique but now can't find the link to it. Jan is super funny and you will enjoy checking out her blog.

Since the Stampin' Up! retired list is now available, many if not most of the demonstrators are going through their stamp sets deciding which ones have to go. I have gone through my stamp sets so many times and find it hard to part with any of them. Usually when I purchase a stamp set it's because I love it or have a need for it and that doesn't change just because it goes on the "retired" list. Awash with Flowers is one of the sets on the retired list but it is still one of my favorites.

Well, today you get TWO cards! I couldn't leave you hanging as to what I did for the lady at my husband's office! This card turned out PERFECT! It is sooo her:) I love these scrunchy flowers and they are so easy to make. The Big Pearls in the middle really did the trick to finish them off.

So, what did I use? Stampin' Up! products, of course...
  • Regal Rose, Whisper White, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo card stock
  • Punches: Blossom, Five Petal Flower, Boho Blossom, Build a Blossom
  • Loving Thoughts stamp set
  • Large Pearls and Basic Pearls
  • Heavy Duty 1/2" Glue Dots (not Stampin' Up!) and tiny brads (also not Stampin' Up!)
I hope you enjoyed these super fun cards today. You should see my kitchen table--no you shouldn't! I have been making cards for two days plus getting ready for my Happy Stampers tomorrow night! I have more fun cards to show you the rest of the week so be sure to stop back by!

Jan Tink says the funniest thing at the end of her video..."keep your stamp pads wet and your pants dry!" So with that, I will sign off for today. Kat

New Range

I recently got a new range and I love it! Actually I wasn't even thinking about a new stove even though the old one had some issues but hubby found one and bought it! Where??? Why, Costco, of course!

My new stove is a Premier Pro Series 30" Stainless Steel Sealed Burner Gas Range by Peerless. I am finding that the black top shows every speck of dust but am willing to live with that! The back left burner has 15,000 BTUs as opposed to 9,100 BTUs for the two burners on the right side. The front left burner is called a Simmer Burner with only 600 (low)-6,000 (high) BTUs.

"The Natural Convection Oven System has a baffled oven burner that distributes heat evenly through scientifically located oven vents for better baking performance." It also has a low 150 degree oven thermostat that is perfect for making my granola which I bake at 150 degrees overnight. The oven door closes and the racks easily pull in and out (the issues with my old stove).

You might be asking why we purchased this particular range as opposed to one of the many on the market. We live off-grid so we are very conscious of power usage and did you know that most gas ranges use electricity for more than just the clock and oven light? Most gas ranges have what they call a glow bar that uses about 400 watts of electricity the whole time the oven is on. Another drawback to these ranges is that if your power is off, you cannot use your stove--the burners will not work and neither will the oven. With my new range, if I don't have any power (rare at my house) I can light my burners with a match and still use the oven. Took some careful research on my hubby's part to get just the range we needed.

I thought I would show a picture of my oven while it is still clean:) I sure hope I can keep it looking like this!  Look at that shine!!!

For someone who likes to cook as much as I do, a good range is important. Check out the bread on the counter beside the stove:)

I hope you are having a good day and a great week. Thanks for stopping by.

Cards in the Mail:)

Just a super quick post today--better than none, right?!!! I wanted to share two cards I got in the mail this week.

Nothing says Spring to me like tulips and red ones are my favorite! This card was sent to me by Chirella, one of my Happy Stampers! The Happy Stampers Stamping Club is the bright spot in my month. I love visiting with all the ladies and sharing with them projects I have found on the internet that they might enjoy making. I come away from our stamping night feeling like the luckiest woman in the world! Which, of course, I am:)

And, of course the inside of this card is just as pretty as the outside! The little tulip section is a tab to open the card to show the rest of the pretty inside!
Love this card, Chirella, and thanks for sending it!

This adorable little 3"x3" card was sent to me by Mike Funke who has a blog called Stampin-Style. The other day I was looking at some of the retired items he had for sale and found a Library Pocket Die. I have been wanting one for a long time, so bought it. When my order came this adorable little card was in it! Now, if I'm not mistaken the Designer Series Paper is the Nautical Expedition (retired but can purchase on the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack)! I just purchased a package that should be arriving TODAY!!! He also used Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler card stock. And the Scalloped Oval Punch and the Large Oval Punch. I like Mike's stamping style and he has a couple of GREAT tutorials on using the Simply Scored Diagonal Plate to make envelopes for cards of any size or shape. Check out his blog; you won't be disappointed!

Have a great day and a super weekend! Kat

Gluten Steaks

When I went to visit my daughter last month she had a list of things she wanted me to bring or make while I was there:

  • Granola (recipe here)
  • Raisin Bread
  • Mizidra (recipe here)
  • Apple Pie
  • Gluten Steaks (also called Seitan--pronounced SAY-tawn)
Her very sweet neighbor came over to try the Gluten Steaks and pronounced them good. She is a Follower of my blog and asked me to post the recipe so here goes!

GLUTEN STEAKS

1 1/2 cups cold water
1 small onion
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 tsp salt
1 Tbsp chicken-like seasoning (I use Bill's Best)
1 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp peanut or almond butter

Blend above ingredients in blender for one minute. Pour into bowl and add 2-3 cups gluten flour. Mix well. Form a long roll, wrap in plastic and refrigerate one hour to overnight. Slice in 1/3" slices and drop in boiling broth. Boil 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Boiling Broth for Gluten

8 cups water
1/2 cup soy sauce
Add any or all of the following ingredients:
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic
  • 1 Tbsp granulated onion
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
Bring to boil before adding the gluten. As stated above, boil gluten for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

When gluten is finished boiling, bread with your favorite breading mix and fry like you would chicken fried steak. Best served with mashed potatoes and gravy but my daughter eats them cold out of the refrigerator:)

I hope you enjoy this recipe! Kat

April Thank You

I am so excited about my April Thank You cards! I have been wanting the Tea Shoppe stamp set since the Occasions Mini Catalog came out in January but there was always something else I needed to get. Finally, I just bit the bullet and bought it. We are using the big teacup on one of our cards for the Happy Stampers stamping club on April 18 so will be able to show you that card on the 19th:) My inspiration for these cards was none other than Dawn Griffith at Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. Dawn's cards were 3" x 3" cards and mine are note card size. Every time someone orders Stampin' Up! products through me during the month of April they will receive one of the above cards. So if you order three times you will receive one of each of the above cards!

Since the 2010-2012 In Colors will be retiring the end of May, I decided to use them one more time. I used Poppy Parade, Pear Pizzazz and Concord Crush. I embellished some with Basic Pearls and some with Basic Rhinestones. I also used a white gel pen for the "doodle dots" around the Scallop Circle. The punches I used are:

  • 1 3/8" Circle
  • 1 3/4" Scallop Circle
  • Modern Label
  • Word Window
  • Large Oval
  • Scallop Oval
  • Decorative Label
I went kinda punch happy this month!!! By the way, if you are looking for a great bargain on Stampin' Up! punches, check out the Stampin' Up! Clearance Rack. If you don't already have a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, please pick me--Kathy Skinner:)

Our sweet little Rocky (English Bulldog puppy) is going to the Vet for surgery one more time. About a month and a half ago he went in to have a "cherry eye" repaired, benign tumor removed and to be neutered. Well, about three weeks after the surgery we were concerned that the eye wasn't healing properly. So off to the Vet we went (I'm about to put her on speed dial)! The stitches that were supposed to dissolve only partially dissolved and they were poking him in the eye. The Vet took them out and the eye started to heal again only to have the "cherry eye" reappear:( Sooo, Rocky gets another trip to the Vet. Hopefully this will take care of the problem...forever!

I hope you are having a good week. I will be back on Thursday with a yummy recipe.  Kat

Thank You Cards

New camera coming soon! Just have to get it set up. It isn't top of the line or anything but may take better pictures than my Kodak Easyshare! Yup, you saw that right--have been using a 10 year old Kodak Easyshare to take the pictures for my blog. Not too bad for an old, cheap camera, right?!!!

This is the card I sent to my customers who purchased from me last month. I love the simple elegance of it. When I first saw it on Stamping with Roxy I knew I wanted to sent it out to thank everyone who ordered from me in the the month of March! Thanks Corinne (aka Roxy) for this and many other great ideas. Also love to look at the grandbaby pictures on her blog. She has two now--a little girl born about four months ago and a brand new grandson! Congrats Roxy!!!

For this card I used:

  • Basic Black, Crumb Cake and Whisper White (inside) card stock
  • Whisper White Craft Stampin' Pad, Black Classic Stampin' Pad
  • Stamp Sets: Fresh Vintage (got it for free during Sale-a-bration) and Wonderful Words (retired for the sentiment)
When stamping with the Craft Stampin' Pads you need to be sure to give plenty of time for the ink to dry or you could use a hair dryer or heat gun--I just stood them up and let them dry overnight.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! I will have a few things to share besides cards for a few days--recipes, update on our puppy...who knows!

Kat!

Everyday Enchantment Simply Sent

As promised, today's post is highlighting the other half of the Everyday Enchantment Simply Sent package--half in Baja Breeze and half in Cherry Cobbler. I played with the blossoms a little more on this one and really like they way they turned out.

For these blossoms I used:

  • Whisper White and Basic Black card stock
  • Silver Glimmer Paper
  • Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Pad
  • Mixed Bunch Stamp Set
  • Punches: Blossom Punch and Boho Blossom Punch
  • Red Glimmer Brads

The flowers on three of the cards are double blossoms--the bottom layer being white with the edges sponged in Cherry Cobbler. As you can see, I chose to leave the sentiments off so I can use them as needed.

I really like the three blossoms in a row on the one card I made and did you notice the Silver Glimmer Paper???

The lacy edge doesn't really show up on the white paper but if you look at the top photo there is a strip of Cherry Cobbler on the inside bottom of the card so as to really show off the white lacy edge.

I will try to take a little break from the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set and Blossom Punch--maybe for a week or two. But you can be sure I will be using this set a lot!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! Kat

Clean & Simple Butterflies

I love the simplicity and elegance of this card. Another great project idea from Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty. This was one of the cards we made at my daughter's Stampin' Up! party--quick, easy, clean and simple!

For this card I used:

  • Whisper White and Baja Breeze card stock
  • Twitterpated Designer Series Paper (currently in the Occasions Mini Catalog)
  • Loving Thoughts Stamp Set (also in the Occasions Mini)
  • 5/8" Whisper White Organza Ribbon (my new favorite ribbon)
  • Old Olive Stampin' Pad
  • Butterfly Punch
  • Large Pearl Basic Jewels
I have another card ready to put together using pink instead of the blue. I also made one using the largest of the Basic Pearls and that looked really good too. I got my other two Easter Everybunny boxes made so need to get them in the mail. That has to be the hardest for me. It's not hard for me to purchase or make a gift but getting it ready to mail is a whole other story.

Hope you have a great day!  Kat

More Blossom Punch

I got a set of the Everyday Elegance Simply Sent Cards & Envelopes for free during Sale-a-bration. So, what to do with them. They come so as to be quick and easy with the cards, labels you can stamp on and the envelopes. I guess I thought I needed a little more than that! So, when I saw the idea at Creations by Chris I knew what I wanted to do! I am in LOVE with the Mixed Bunch Stamp Set and matching Blossom Punch!
The basic color on these premade cards is Baja Breeze so stamped the flowers using Baja Breeze ink.

For these flowers I used:

  • Whisper White, Early Espresso, Baja Breeze card stock
  • Punches: Boho Blossom Punch, Blossom Punch, 1/2" Circle Punch
  • Baja Breeze Stampin' Pad
  • Glimmer brads
I didn't add sentiments to most of these cards thinking that I could just add one as fits the occasion. The center of the one at left is layered with the large Boho Blossom on the bottom in Baja Breeze, the medium Boho Blossom in the middle in Early Espresso and a Glimmer Brad to top it off. I love this look! There is enough room on this card to use my Decorative Label Punch or the Curly Label Punch for the sentiment. Don't you like the lacy edge?

One last picture showing a close-up of the three blossoms.
The centers for these flowers were punched out of one of the flowers so as to get the little tulip design. I learn something new everyday and dressing up these cards was definitely a winner for me. Thanks Chris for the great idea!!

Tomorrow's card is clean and simple and I think you will really like it. Then on Wednesday I will show you the Cherry Cobbler versions of the Everyday Enchantment Simply Sent Card set. While I got this set for free it is also in the 2011-2012 Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog. The set of 8 cards and envelopes with labels to stamp on is $11.95. You can also purchase a two stamp set to stamp on the labels for $9.95 (used in the top photo).

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great week! Kat
